Electrica Serv’ main object of activity is to execute maintenance and reparations works for power distribution and transport networks and installations (110 kV); to supply various services and to perform investment works in the energy sector.

Electrica Serv History

Maintenance and Electric Power Services Branch « Electrica Serv» - S.A. is legally, a dynamic and a relatively young structure. It benefits although of the expertise accumulated in more than 120 years of activity, because, under various structures and organizational shapes, the company was performing maintenance works and services for the energy sector, since the beginning of its development.

• Based on the Romanian Government Decision (H.G.R.) no. 1342/2001 the separation of the electrical power distribution and supply activities from the maintenance, reparations of electrical plants and support activities took place within Electrica S.A. Thus 8 Maintenance and Electric Power Services Subsidiaries appeared at regional level. The 8 subsidiaries were coordinated by the Maintenance and Electric Power Services Department of Electrica – S.A.
• In March 2005, pursuant to H.G.R. no. 74/2005, the maintenance and electric power services activities were completely externalised and the ninth branch – legal entity of Electrica – S.A., was constituted and named S.C. Maintenance and Electric Power Services Branch « Electrica Serv» - S.A.
